EKM Consult und der kleine Hai

Der kleine Hai warf bereits vor ein paar Monaten so manche Frage in unserem Büro auf. Kann jemand, der so...sagen wir mal...emotional und leidenschaftlich "singt" wirklich zurechnungsfähig sein? Ist das Video "Kleiner Hai" feat. Alemuel überhaupt "echt", also ein veröffentlichtes Privatvideo oder der kleine Hai lediglich Teil einer ausgeklügelten Viralmarketing-Kampagne?

Kurze Zeit nach unserem damaligen Blogeintrag, verfolgte uns der kleine Hai sogar schon als Klingelton und stürmte die Charts.

Und wer ist für diesen Erfolg verantwortlich? Wer steckt hinter der Geschichte des kleinen Hais?

Diese Frage stellt sich nun auch Christiane Schulzki-Haddouti in Ihrem Blog und war sich bis vorhin sicher, die Drahtzieher gefunden zu haben: UNS!!!!

Aber nein, wir sind nicht für die Vermarktung verantwortlich. Nichtsdestotrotz wird Bettina noch heute abend ein ernstes Wörtchen mit ihrer Tochter sprechen müssen, die sie auf das Video aufmerksam machte.

Sollte etwa eine 12-jährige hinter der Geschichte stecken?

Mein liebes Frollein, wir müssen mal ein ernstes Wort miteinander sprechen....und wenn wir schon dabei sind, wie sieht es eigentlich mit Deiner Gehaltsvorstellung aus????

Edit: Offensichtlich bringt man uns schon länger mit dem kleinen Hai in Verbindung! Ups......*sing* "Kleiner Hai dim dim..."

Ein Blick in unsere Statistik verwunderte mich gerade etwas. Da ist doch tatsächlich jemand über einen mir unbekannten Referrer auf unseren Blog gekommen und hat mal eben so zu einer Demonstration aufgerufen!!!!

Die PS3 ist auf dem Markt...das neue IPhone soll auch demnächst an den Start gehen, ITunes steht unter Beschuss, und eine aufstrebende Firma könnte zum Global Player werden...ich bin mir da ganz sicher, Pieben!!!!

Der eine fährt Ski und bloggt ein Füllvideo , die andere findet das Video wiederum so interessant, dass sie versucht hat die interessanten Gedanken und Aussagen aus dem Film von Michael Welsch festzuhalten. HTML, XML, Flickr, Blogs, Maps ... Das Web 2.0 in weniger als 5 Minuten ...und auf Englisch:

Text is linear.
Text is unlinear.
Text is said to be unlinear.
Text is often said to be unlinear.
Text is unlinear when written on paper!
Digital text is different!
Digital text is more flexible!
Digital text is movable.
Digital text is above all.
Hypertext is above all.
Hypertext can link.
Virtual anywhere.
Anywhere virtually.
Anywhere virtual.

Most early websites are written in HTML.
HTML was designed to define the structure of a web document.
<p> is a structural element referring to paragraph.
<LI> is also a structural element referring to List item.
As HTML expanded, more elements were added.
Including stylistic elements like <b> for bold and <i> for italics.
Such elements defined how content would be formatted.
In other words, form and content became inseparable in HMTL.

Digital text can do better.
Form and content can be seperated.
XML was designed to just do that.
<title> does not define the form. It defines the content.
Same with <link> an <description> an virtually all other elements in this content.
They describe the content not the form.
So the data can be exported, free of formatting constraints.
With form separated from content, users did not need to know complicated code to upload content to the web.
There´s a blog born every half second.
...and it´s not just text...

XML facilitates automated data exchange.
Two sites can mash data together.

Who will organize all of this data?
We will.
You will.

XML+ U and me create a database-backed web.
A database-backed web is different.
The web is different.
We are the web.

When we post and then tag pictures we are teaching the machine.
Each time we forge a link we teach it an idea.
Think of the 100 billion times per day humans click on a web page.
Teaching the machine.
The machine is us.
Digital text is no longer just linking information.
Hypertext is no longer just linking information.
The web is no longer just linking information.
The web is linking people.
Web 2.0 is linking people.
...people sharing, trading and collaborating...

We´ll need to rethink a few things.
